Major Kundali Doshas and Their Astrological Remedies
Here we present a clear overview of a few key Kundali doshas along with their scripture-backed remedies.
1. Mangal Dosha (Mars Dosha)
When Mars (the planet of energy, courage, and zeal) occupies the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house in a person’s Kundali, it forms Mangal Dosha. This dosha mainly affects married life, partnerships, and close relationships.
Effects:
- Stress and conflict in married life
- Ego clashes and a tendency toward arguments in relationships
Remedies:
- Anushthan and Worship for Mars: Vedic Mangal Shanti Anushthan and mantra japa is very powerful when performed by vidwans. Fasting on Tuesday and reading of Sundarkand and Hanuman Chalisa is also good.
- Kumbh Vivah (pre marriage): If the Mangal Dosha is extremely bad, some perform a special rite called Kumbh Vivah before the marriage to offset its effects.
2. Kaal Sarp Dosha
It is formed if all other planets of a Kundali are between Rahu and Ketu. Usually, it will result in recurrent problems with everyday living.
